The Informal Meeting of the CICA Ministers of Foreign Affairs was held in New York on 25 September 2013 on the sidelines of the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly, at the initiative of the Turkish Chair. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs or their representatives from the Member States.

The Ministers highlighted the progress made by CICA in last two years and exchanged views on further enhancing cooperation among the Member States. The Ministers reaffirmed the importance of the CICA process in promoting peace and security in Asia. The Ministers also exchanged views on developing and implementing agreed Confidence Building Measures and future transformation of CICA.
