| CICA Executive Director Ambasador Cinar Aldemir visited Bangkok from 6-10 November 2013 to attend the Forum of Asian Ministers of Transport on invitation from ESCAP. The Ministerial Meeting marked the opening ceremony of the signing of Intergovernmental Agreement on Dry Ports and Ministerial Declaration on transport as a key to sustainable development and regional integration. During his visit Executive Director also availed the opportunity to have consultations with Deputy Permanent Secretary of Thai MFA Ambassador Narong Sasistorn about the proposed SWG/SOC Meetings in Bangkok and the issues pertaining to those. |
