At the invitation of the Turkish Government, Ambassador Gong Jianwei, CICA Executive Director, participated in the inauguration of H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as 12th President of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara on 28 August 2014. During a brief meeting at the dinner hosted in honour of the foreign dignitaries, Ambassador Gong conveyed greetings and felicitation of the CICA family to President Erdoğan. Ambassador Gong also paid his respects at the Mausoleum of Kemal Ataturk, founder of the Turkish Republic.
