| Regular meetings of the Special Working Group (SWG) and Senior Official Committee of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures (CICA) were held in Almaty on 20-22 and 23 August 2008 respectively. The main purpose of the meetings was to discuss issues relating to the implementation of the Confidence Building Measures in various dimensions among the Member States and finalizing working documents for the Third Meeting of the CICA Ministers of Foreign Affairs scheduled to be held on August 25, 2008. |
