PRESS RELEASE

    Regular meetings of the SWG and the SOC of the CICA were held in Ankara, Republic of Turkey on 7-8 March 2013. The meetings were chaired by Ambassador Suphan Erkula, Chairman of CICA Task Force at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
    Member States discussed implementation of confidence building measures in different dimensions, including military-political dimension; amendment to the Rules of Procedure; and general issues relating to CICA including financial statement for the year 2012.
    The next meetings of the Special Working Group and Senior Officials Committee will be held in June 2013. Exact dates and venue will be decided in due course.
