In accordance with the decision taken at the Fourth CICA Summit in Shanghai in May 2014, process of relocation of the Secretariat from Almaty to Astana has begun. Relocation will be carried out in phases and the process is expected to be completed in three months.

           Ambassador Gong Jianwei, Executive Director, has moved to Astana with skeleton staff in the first phase. Astana office of the Secretariat is presently operating from a temporary location. Address and contact details of the Secretariat in Astana will be communicated once it moves to regular premises. Till such time, office of the Secretariat in Almaty will remain operational and will be the nodal point for all communications.
